Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Kennit is built to respect your privacy. Kennit does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs in the app.

What you create stays yours

Everything you add to Kennit — your decks, the people and pets in them, their photos, pronunciation recordings, birthdays, relationships, notes, and your review history — is stored locally on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, this content also syncs through your own private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) so it's available on your other devices. This data lives in your iCloud account; the developer cannot access it.

Camera, photos, and microphone

Kennit uses the camera and your photo library only to add the pictures you choose to the people and pets in your decks, and the microphone only when you record a pronunciation clip. These stay on your device and in your private iCloud — they are never sent to the developer or anyone else.

Data the developer receives

Because Kennit has no servers and no analytics, the developer receives no personal information from your use of the app. If you choose to email us for support, we'll see the information you include in your message, used only to respond to you.

Children

Kennit does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your control

You can edit or delete any deck, person, pet, photo, or recording in the app at any time; changes sync to your iCloud. You can turn off iCloud syncing for Kennit in the app's Settings, and you can manage iCloud for Kennit in your device's system settings under your Apple ID → iCloud.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
